"San Mateo County Sheriff's deputies were contacted by a motorist who reported a disoriented woman standing in the middle of Highway 1 near the Point Montara Lighthouse. When deputies got there they found traffic stopped in both directions and a woman standing in the road. Deputies then saw a motorist exit his vehicle and drag the woman off the roadway to the east side shoulder. The motorist told deputies that the woman was extremely drunk. The 56-year-old La Honda woman began struggling violently and continued cursing and threatening the deputies. She reportedly told them she knew where they lived and was going to kill them. After being checked at an area hospital, she was taken to county jail."
