Collective Movement at 2018 La Honda fair
by craig eddy
The rain has let up, the temperature is rising, and allergies are on the rise. Must be about time for another La Honda Country Fair and Music Festival. This year the Fair will be held on Saturday and Sunday June 8th and 9th. On Friday evening there will be a kickoff featuring Cryin’ Shame at 6pm with Delta Vee playing at 7:30 on the Café patio. The kickoff will feature food by Puente and also there will be an art show to show off some local art. The big news this year is the passing of the torch. Paula Dennis will be turning over the directorship to Kristen Lindstrom. Paula has been the driving force for many many years so I hope everyone gets a chance to thank her for all she has done. The La Honda Fair is the crowning jewel of the local music scene and along with the Pescadero Art and Fun Festival and we have great times showcasing local talent. So come on down that weekend and join with neighbors and friends and celebrate our great community.
